The Institute can also participate in international research and cooperation with other institutions to develop effective strategies for the prevention and treatment of these diseases. Everyone interested – from a nurse and a student to an academician can join the Association. The activity of our community is based on the cooperation of cardiologists and endocrinologists – scientists and clinicians, as well as specialists of other specialties related to cardiometabolic practice.


The mission of the LOCZ is to promote research and increase interest in the field of lipidology and improve clinical care for people with obesity and cardiometabolic diseases.


The Institute of Lipidology, Obesity and Cardiometabolic Diseases is a non-profit medical society. We are an independent public non-governmental organization whose members and leaders are medical professionals. We dedicate our time and do our best to spread knowledge in the medical community, continuing our daily scientific, research and clinical work.


The Institute of Lipidology is a source of high-quality science based on evidence and many years of experience, the analysis of which gives impetus to the development of endocrinology. A non-profit scientific society for professionals who treat patients with cardiometabolic diseases.


We invite all medical workers (including students), scientists to join the Institute. Membership in the Institute will contribute to obtaining new ideas, knowledge, communication with colleagues, and will provide an opportunity to share knowledge at our meetings. The educational activities of the Institute include congresses, conferences, symposia, master classes, schools, including online training in the format of webinars, as well as programs in cooperation with international societies, internships at the workplace.
